It's Friday, so it's time for Follow Friday hosted at Parajunkee's View . It's also time for another Book Blogger Hop hosted by Jenn at Crazy For Books!
This week's question is: Do you listen to music when you read? If so, what are your favorite reading tunes? I listen to music while reading sometimes - especially if the noise level in the house is pretty high. I usually listen to classical since I have problems listening to music with words while reading. I tend to get distracted. But today I am trying out Sigur Ros - thanks to Jane Doe at Dead White Guys - for something diferent.
Hi, just blog hopping through. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI listen to music mostly when I write, not when I’m reading. I listen to Celtic and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Check out ketch1714.wordpress.com for Follow Friday and a featured movie clip.
Best,
Kelsey
Just hoppin in from the blog hop! I know what you mean about the noise level in the house being high. I think my 2 girls try to compete for the loudest, high pitched scream. Music would only make the headache grow. :D I love your blog design and it looks like we have a lot of books in common. I will be following to see what you post next.

Stopping in from the blog hop. I completely agree about getting distracted when I listen to music with words while I'm reading. However, the boyfriend is normally in the room with me listening to his music or watching a movie so I'm starting to learn to live with it, lol.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome to the hop! I'm just popping in to say hi:) I enjoy most of the same genres as you so I'm glad to have found your blog! Happy Friday:)
ReplyDeleteI get distracted by music with words also. I love to sing along (despite having no singing ability whatsoever) and then I can't focus on what I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend

Hi! I am now a follower of yours! =) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI love silence when I read. Beautiful silence. Although lately I've found myself listening to French music while reading....Lovely, too.
ReplyDeleteI've just become a new follower. I'd love to have you stop by my blog, too.
